For Attorneys

Partnering with another attorney—especially when it involves one’s own clients—requires trust.

Sylvia Duluc-Silva understands that and does not take it lightly. Her goal in every collaboration is to provide excellent legal work that reflects positively on the partnering firm while advancing the client’s case with care and precision.

Sylvia Duluc-Silva is a Florida-based immigration attorney with over seven years of experience in immigration litigation, crimmigration, and appellate advocacy. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and she practices before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).

Throughout her career, Sylvia has worked on hundreds of immigration and removal defense cases—including detained representation, asylum litigation, motions to reopen, bond hearings, and complex BIA appeals. She has also written extensively for appeals and post-conviction relief efforts and regularly consults with criminal defense counsel on the immigration consequences of criminal charges.

Before founding SDS Law, Sylvia served as Managing Attorney at a multi-office immigration firm, where she oversaw a team of paralegals and clerks while managing a high-volume caseload of active removal and asylum matters. Her professional experience also includes work at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Civil Enforcement and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she gained trial court exposure early in her career.
